Join other dancers and fans of hula from Hawaii and around the world in a 3-day conference November 13-15, 2008 at the world class Hawaii Convention Center, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Waikiki Hula Conference offers the rare opportunity to come to Hawaii to learn, share and experience the hula firsthand, with a variety of respected hula masters, many of whom do not travel outside Hawaii to teach. Choose from among 128 classes offered by 42 noted kumu hula and Hawaiian cultural experts. Classes include modern and ancient dance, costume, lei-making, Hawaiian language, chant, history, songs, music and implement-making.
